Greenbridge Foundation Beliefs

At our inaugural Greenbridge Summit 2022, we gathered many of our amazing impact partners together for the first time. We also used the opportunity to step back and think about our goals and values and how we wanted Greenbridge to operate in the world. With the help of conversation architect David Baum, we were able to emerge with a shared set of guiding beliefs. We've always believed that an organization's only enduring competitive advantage is it's culture. Every organization operates with a core set of underlying beliefs that define its culture. That's why we spent time thinking about and trying to articulate what our underlying beliefs were. Shared beliefs are the glue that bind us together, and empowers us to make better and more efficient decisions to maximize our impact. We are excited to share them with you here.

We believe everyone deserves a fighting chance to thrive. No matter the background or mistakes of the past, we believe in helping those who are fighting to make themselves and the world around them a better place.

We believe no one should be defined by their worst mistake. While success may look smooth and inevitable from the outside, we know from having seen it first hand, that’s never the case. Making decisions and lots of mistakes and the learning from them is the real bumpy path to success.

We believe in practicing radical candor with love. There is no learning without feedback. Trusting that the feedback comes from a place of love instead of judgment is critical. We aspire to be the partner that earns your trust to provide meaningful and helpful feedback.

We believe in creating memorable moments of impact. Some call it magic or luck, we believe in the hard work to help create the conditions for surprisingly good things to happen over time.

We would love any feedback along the way to help us stay true to these beliefs and we will do our best to uphold them.
